A company has just launched flights London-Singapore only for 195 $ !

This is probably the good news of this early October, Norwegian airline has launched a low-cost long-haul flight, to the delight of all travelers. And surprise, the latter costs only 195 USD  to connect London to Singapore !

Another positive point is that there is no stopover on the route and allows those on board to join Singapore in just 12 hours and 45 minutes, thus traveling the 10,885 kilometers separating the two cities without breaking the bank. A world premiere that delights lovers of escape and travel.

Scheduled four times a week, these flights are carried out in Boeing 787-9 aircraft (also called Dreamliner, ed.). A reference aircraft, used by the largest companies in the world. A pledge of security that confirms that only the rates seem to be low-cost in this offer. Note that these new flights between London and Singapore are the longest served by a so-called low-cost airline. An initiative that will undoubtedly open the door to further developments in the travel sector.

Announced in April by Norwegian, the first plane heading for Singapore took off from London-Gatwick International Airport yesterday. As expected, the departure took place at 10:30 am and landed at 6:15 am local time. And as good news never arrives alone, this connected destination by Norwegian company should be the first of a long list! Indeed, the company is currently working on a global expansion and wants to open its offers to long-haul flights in a broader way.

Other upcoming destinations

Thus, other cities on other continents than Europe will be added to the Norwegian catalog. The first names to have filtered are Chicago, Austin and Bueno Aires (as of February 2018, note). After Asia, the company wanting to open up the long-haul low-cost market is tackling America. According to a press release from the company, it will take 200 euros to book a one way ticket to Bueno Aires. On the other hand, the tariffs for the United States have not been specified.

"The 787 Dreamliner has the range and capacity to extend our long-haul services to other parts of the world while keeping prices relatively low. This is only the beginning regarding the expansion of our company in this area. We will continue to reach destinations that have been sought after, and for a long time the tariffs have been too high. I am pleased to give travelers affordable access to destinations such as Asia and America, "said Bjørn Kjos, CEO of Norwegian through a press release published on the company's website.

In any case, we are anxious that all this becomes even more concrete!
